N° 0 STANZE VIBRANTI
“N°0” is the first installment of an online art project by Ferruccio Ascari http://ferruccioascari.net/. The first three videos, grouped under the title Stanze Vibranti (vibrant rooms), develop from one of the artist's earliest installations, Vibractions (1978). Very much in accordance with the typical creation process pursued by the artist throughout his career, where each new work grows out of the conceptual frame of the previous one, these videos arise from a desire to escape the motionlessness of the original installation.
N° 0 è il primo passo di un progetto artistico concepito da Ferruccio Ascari per il web http://ferruccioascari.net/. I primi tre video, raggruppati sotto il nome di Stanze Vibranti, traggono origine da una delle sue prime installazioni, Vibractions, del 1978. Secondo una modalità tipica di tutto il suo lavoro egli procede per variazioni: ogni nuova opera è lo sviluppo di questioni già presenti in quelle precedenti. Anche i video di prossima pubblicazione si attengono a questa regola, sospinti, si direbbe, da una tensione ad uscire dalla fissità dell'installazione.
